What's up people just sitting here drinking my Capt. & Coke, but Jager it's only 4pm why so early? Well I'll tell you....I'm going to Summerfest tonight and need to have a good buzz before I show up so when I pay $5 for a beer it won't seem as bad and pissing my $$$ away will be a lil eaiser to handle. Actually 4pm isn't early for me but I had an interview at 2 so I couldn't show up for that w/alcohol on my breath. Damn it is hot in herre. Don't know who were goning to see tonight, hopefully Seether and Trapt but most likely we'll see the comedic styleings of one Pat McCurdy which is fine w/me since he is fucking funny. He plays the guitar and makes up funny songs and just tells jokes and shit, always a good time. We saw him last year but I'm sure he has new material. I think today will be my Top 5 list of my favorite Robert DeNiro movies, there are so many to choo choo choose from I know I'll forget some. Also, please take the time to tell me your 5 fave De Niro films.
5) Casino - No one can play a gangster like De Niro, then team him up w/Pesci and you have a great movie.
4) Meet The Parents - Focker! Hilarious movie, only De Niro could have played Jack Byrnes.
3) Goodfellas - Him and Pesci are once again great together on screen. One of the best dou's in film history.
2) Deer Hunter - Ditty Mao! A long movie but amazing. He plays it w/the intesity one expects from him. The scene w/him and Christopher Walken when their playing Russian Roulette in the pow camp is unreal and then they duplicate it again towards the end when Walken goes all crazy.
1) Taxi Driver - You talkn' to me - Travis Bickle is probably one of the most intrigueing characters on film. He brings so much to his movies that you can't help but be captivated by his performances. He plays this "crazy person" like no other could have. You can tell he thinks he's doing the right thing but you know he's not. Top notch.
Honorable Mention: Raging Bull, Cape Fear, Jackie Brown, Awakenings , The Godfather, Part II
